The Scioto Ridge Job Networking Group is comprised of many great and talented people who will help you any way they can during your career transition.  The strength of our group lies in the commitment of each member to reach out and help other members during their job search.  Members of the Scioto Ridge JNG agree to meet with other members of the group when asked either in person or by telephone and give of their time and energy as needed.

Job Search Networking

Networking is the most effective path to your next job.  It's also the hardest thing to do.  Most people are scared to death to network.  The Scioto Ridge Job Networking Group allows you to meet and network with people in a very positive and non-threatening atmosphere.  Attendees at chapter meetings vary by location.  You may be attending a meeting with either 20 people or 100 people. Each attendee has the opportunity to spend a little time introducing themselves in the small group breakout sessions and talk about their job search progress to date.

Great Guest Speakers

We typically have a guest speaker or discussion group leader who provides us with important job search information or will discuss some aspect of the job search process.  We are very grateful to have such excellent speakers participate in our group at each and every meeting.

Corporate Members

Our group is very fortunate to have professional and corporate members as part of our membership.  Currently, our corporate members include career coaches, professional recruiters, corporate recruiters, and other business professionals.  

Networking Event Announcements

At each meeting and on the event calendar of this website, we announce upcoming job fairs, business events, chamber or commerce events and other networking opportunities in the area.  All of these business events provide opportunities for our members to expand their job search and business networking contacts.
