Advisory Board

The Scioto Ridge Advisory Board is responsible for carrying out the mission of our group. If you have any issues that you would like to discuss or recommendations that you would like to be considered, please contact a member of our board directly. They are charged to continually examine our approach and make improvements in the services that we offer our members.

Membership Committee
The heart of our group is our members. The membership committee is charged with increasing our membership, making sure our membership roster is accurate and that our members continue to renew their membership every year.

Volunteer Committee
Everyone who attends a Scioto Ridge Job Networking Group meeting needs to feel welcome and feel good about their experience with us. Volunteers are the very first people that our members and visitors meet. We are looking for volunteers who would serve as greeters and registrars at our meetings and warmly welcome all participants. This particular committee spearheads the ideas, formats, efficiencies and training for each chapter's volunteers.

Administrative Director
The Administrative Director of the Scioto Ridge Job Networking Group is the first line of communication with our members. When you contact us through the website, our Administrative Director will receive your email and provide you with assistance as required or put you in touch with one of our staff that may be able assist you.

Career Fair Committee
Each year, SRJNG organizes several professional career fairs or resource fairs. The Career Fair committee is responsible for directing all aspects of our career and resource fairs including planning, promotion, management and exhibitor relations.

Chapter Leadership
The Chapter Leadership Committee is comprised of chapter leaders and support staff.

Legal Committee
The Legal Committee is made up of members and outside experts who understand the legal aspects of our organization and can advise us accordingly.

Marketing Committee
Our Marketing Committee is responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive marketing program to make sure that our message is effectively communicated to the communities in which we serve. The responsibilities of the Marketing Committee include website development, collateral material development, public relations, trade show management and other promotional activities.

New Chapter Development
The Scioto Ridge Job Networking Group has grown from one to three chapters in 2008. We have had the good fortune of being asked to start new chapters in other churches in and outside of the Central Ohio area. The Chapter Development Committee is charged with the responsibility to help newly chartered chapters become successful during the initial stages of their operation.

Speakers Bureau
Since its inception, the Scioto Ridge Job Networking Group has had the good fortune of providing our members with excellent guest speakers at each meeting. The Speakers Bureau has the responsibility of locating and scheduling speakers for each chapter meeting throughout the year.

Corporate Membership Committee
Corporate members are very important to our group. They assist our members in getting new jobs, help with needed services during job transition and bring job requisitions directly to our meetings. It is important to maintain the value that our corporate members receive from Scioto Ridge so that they will continue to renew their membership. In addition, it is important to attract new corporate members to our group in order to provide our members with new resources during their job search.
